The Healing
The healing is to be achieved through prayer and emotional support. A residence will be erected for a chaplain to live on site. A building will be erected to house an office, counseling room, and restrooms. Also planned are two small retreat houses and an outdoor "Way of the Cross."

It is Rachael weeping for her children, Refusing to be comforted for her children Because they are no more.
Yahweh says this:
Stop your weeping, dry your eyes,
Your hardships will be redressed:

I understood, I beat my breast.

Who We Are
Raphael's Refuge is a small, Christian based, non-profit organization that welcomes people of all faiths.

Our Name
"Raphael" is a Hebrew name that translates to "God has healed." It is the name of the archangel who appears in the Old Testament (Catholic version) in the Book of Tobit. Our organization, and the land upon which it will be built, has been placed under the protection of Archangel Raphael.
​
Archangel Raphael is known as one who heals through the power of God. He is also known as the Patron of Travelers. If you are not familiar with Tobit and his son, Tobias, we encourage you to read the wonderful story.
